This Is How You Get Unique Ideas

That Can Genuinely Change Your Life

Ideas

This is another essential pillar of being a successful solopreneur.

Your ideas should make you unique, yet most creators get it wrong.

They sound like generic AI robots.

But it doesn't have to be like that!

What's the solution?

Your unique perspective is your greatest asset.

Your experiences, beliefs, and values put you in a position to be authentic and stand out from the crowd.

When I think about content strategy I try to follow the advice from this post:

Combine your unique perspective and interest with the newest technology.

You might hit a home run.

How I used this advice to build PodcastGPT

Build the product that improves your life, by helping you do what you like to do, but better.

Dan Koe

Seeing this sentence, I immediately thought about my interest in listening to podcasts. And struggling to effectively retrieve information from them.

This became the problem I wanted to solve with PodcastGPT.

When you start from this perspective, it is easier to learn the technology required to solve the problem.

It makes the journey fun!

Where do I look for ideas?

In order to get the ideas, you need to meaningfully consume content.

For me, it is mostly:

  • Podcasts

  • HackerNews

  • Curating the list of high-value accounts from the AI space

Conclusion

  • Self-reflect on your interests and experiences

  • Notice problems

  • Try to solve them

  • Document the whole journey of solving it

This is how you'll get the ideas that will give you motivation and potentially change your life.

This is the fourth day of the 30-day AI challenge.

Over the next month, I will be building the Lex Fridman AI engine with you!

If you're reading this, I assume you'd like to build things. If you stick to this newsletter you will have a running project after a month and know the necessary technology to build AI apps.

I've recently built PodcastGPT and want to share the process with the community. If you haven't seen the app yet, you can get access here (FREE): PodcastGPT

This is all for now! See you tomorrow.

Stay focused!
