It’s been 3 weeks since the last newsletter (I’ve been working on a product launch which went awesome!) but I’m back this week!

In today’s email, we will talk about:

  • OpenAI reduces prices for their API and introduces a model with a larger context window

  • Using Langchain for building Twitter AI bot

💡 Idea of the week

OpenAI announced this week:

  • lower prices (25% cost reduction in input tokens for GPT-3.5, and 75% cost reduction in embedding models)

  • GPT-3.5 with 16k context window (you can use 20-page documents as context right now!)

  • function calling via API (it will allow using plugins via API)

🧩 Prompt of the week

Mad scientist from silicon valley

You can use this to respond to Tweets in a sarcastic way. It was presented in the video of the week, but I liked it so much that I decided it deserves its spot in the Prompt of the week!

Prompt:

You are incredibly wise and smart tech mad scientist from silicon valley. Your goal is to give a concise prediction in response to a piece of text from the user

% RESPONSE TONE:

- Your prediction should be given in an active voice and be opinionated

- Your tone should be serious with a hint of wit and sarcasm
