🧠 How I'm using AI to turn notes into X drafts

(spicy prompt inside)

Hello from the heights!

It’s Luke Skyward, The AI Synthesizer

Today, I want to show you the process of turning notes into short-form content. These could be almost anything, e.g.:

  • Medium articles

  • YouTube scripts

  • Journaling notes

and much more.

This is the process that I'm using for getting X post drafts, but it can be tweaked to your specific use case.

I will show you an example of how I turned a community post into an example post on X. You will also receive a Megaprompt that will allow you to repeat the process for your notes!

Ready to join me on today’s journey? Let’s sky-sky-skyrocket!

Quick announcement:

I’m starting my FREE Skool community. Inside the community, I will be introducing the AI Synthesizer Protocol - the most actionable way of becoming an AI Synthesizer. You can join completely for free here.

The first pillar of the AI Synthesizer Protocol should be ready in 14 days. I will be rolling out a lesson per 3-4 days, so stay tuned!

The power of structuring X posts the right way

The way we structure our thoughts on X can make a huge difference. The same concept can either go viral or flop depending on how we structure the Tweet.

The idea behind my approach of using AI for short-form content is to use successful structures and apply them to our notes and get content inspiration/drafts.

We want to avoid getting generic and robot-sounding outputs. This is why I recommend using this approach as a draft generator rather than a content automation machine. The goal is to overcome the writer’s block

Adding your personal touch is a key to creating content that resonates with people.

Using TweetCrafterAI to turn notes into short-form posts

I divide the process of creating short-form content into two stages:

Collecting information

To produce good content, you need to search and collect what structures work. The idea is to use the successful templates and apply them onto your unique ideas.

X is a visual platform - how you structure the text visually makes a big difference.

You can collect the templates by yourself or use existing databases.

Template creator prompt

To start collecting templates from scratch, you can use this prompt and apply it to the content you see.

I'm going to train you to turn social media posts into reusable templates. You will be given a template and you should return the following:

1. A template of the hook (first sentence or sentences)

2. A template of the entire post

Give three variations for each

Here are your guidelines:

• Turn the posts into reusable templates that can work for any topic. Remove details that are too specific.

• Remove or replace details that are too specific, including colloquialisms, idioms, or unique expressions.

• Make placeholders like this: [action], [adjective], [topic]

• If the post is too specific to make general enough for other topics, just recommend to skip it or only return templates for the hook, not the full post

Here is an example:

Post:

"You don't need a website.

You don't need a podcast.

You don't need a product.

You don't need a team.

You just need to understand how to get email addresses. That's it."

Template:

"You don't need {thing 1}

You don't need {thing 2}

You don't need {thing 3}

You don't need {thing 4}

You just need {action} for {outcome}"

Do you understand?

Let’s see an example. Here’s an example post that we’ll turn into a template:

These are the results:

It worked pretty well! ChatGPT:

  • extracted the structures, e.g. [negative trait], [personal barrier], etc.

  • suggested three variations of the hook

  • suggested three variations of the entire post.

We can now use these templates!

Using existing databases

You can also use existing databases. Personally, I love this one, shared one time by Dakota Robertson in a free giveaway.

As you can see, there are a lot of templates that you can put to use!

Turning notes into posts

Here’s the TweetCrafterAI prompt that we will use:

#### Context:

Your Role: You are TweetCrafterAI - a highly capable AI assistant specialized in transforming notes into compelling Tweets. Your expertise includes condensing and summarizing information while maintaining its essence and engaging quality.

Expertise Area: Skilled in analyzing detailed notes and extracting key insights to create concise, impactful tweets.

#### Language:

Writing Style: Embrace a concise, engaging, and accessible style, suitable for the Twitter platform. Your tweets should read as if they are written by a human, tailored for a broad audience on social media.

Terminology: Use simple, everyday language that resonates with the general Twitter audience. Avoid jargon, unless it's well-known in the context of the tweet.

#### Expectations:

Goal: To transform notes into succinct, captivating tweets that effectively communicate key messages and engage the audience.

Content Creation Approach: Focus on distilling the essence of the notes into short, impactful messages that are easily digestible and shareable on Twitter.

#### Actions:

1. Notes Analysis:

- Analyze the provided notes, identifying the most significant points or messages.

- Extract key insights or takeaways that are tweet-worthy.

2. Tweet Crafting:

- Condense the essence of the notes into a tweet of 280 characters or less.

- If the note is too long to condense it intto one tweet, create multiple tweets.

- Ensure the tweets are attention-grabbing and thought-provoking.

- Use clear, direct language and a conversational tone.

- Incorporate whitespace and strategic line breaks for readability.

- You will receive a structure of the Tweet that you need to follow. Please stick to it.

#### Restrictions:

- Brevity is Key: Adhere to Twitter's character limit while maintaining the message's integrity.

- Avoid Overcomplication: Keep the language straightforward and accessible.

- No Hashtags or Emojis: Focus on the power of words alone to convey the message.

#### Output Formatting:

- Tweet Format: The content should be formatted as a tweet, considering Twitter's character limit and readability. Use clear, concise sentences and strategic line breaks.

- Follow the structure suggested by the user

#### Example Structure:

[Captivating Opening Statement] [Key Insight or Message] [Concluding Question or Call-to-Action]

#### Example:

Innovation isn't just about creating new things; it's about reimagining the old in new ways. What's something ordinary you can reinvent today?

Wait for the note and Tweet structure before creating any Tweets.

And here’s an example of how I used it to transform a community post into an X-post idea.

Here's one of the drafts that I received from the TweetCrafterAI:

Path to Proficiency at Make.com:

1. Essentials First: Grasp the Basics in 11-16 hours.

2. Intermediate Level: Explore, but lean on forums for specifics.

3. Smart Operation Management: Cut costs, and explore alternatives like spreadsheets.
