🎬 Video of the week

Palantir is a company that sells its services to US enforcement agencies. It looks like they are moving towards military agencies as well. This week, they presented a demo showing the capabilities of their new product, Artificial Intelligence Platform. The video shows a ChatGPT-style interaction between the operator and Large Language Model in a military setting. The model helps in estimating the enemy’s composition and capabilities by launching a Reaper drone on a reconnaissance mission and suggests appropriate responses given the discoveries.

The whole video reminds me a bit of a demo made by Greg Brockman during the recent Ted Talk, where he presented use cases for ChatGPT plugins. The difference is that Palantir’s demo showed interaction in a battlefield-like setting. The similarity is the interaction between different systems that are needed to use a large language model in such a setting.
